Emma is a Black "American" (Field) type Labrador full of energy and style. She weighs about 68 pounds, has desire to play and work and is quick to learn.

 

Obedience: Emma and I have been training with Terri Arnold since April 1997. Emma finished her Canadian Companion Dog Title (Can CD) in November 2000 earning Third Placements. She completed her American Companion Dog title (CD) in June 2001 competing in 14 shows, qualifying 11 times with 6 placements. She finished her Companion Dog Excellence Title (CDX) in October 2004, placing 2 out of her 3 qualifications. We are currently training for her Utility Dog Title (UD).

October 31, 2004, Emma finished her Companion Dog Excellence Title (CDX) at the Burlington Obedience Training Club Trials earning 192 for 2nd place

 

In 2004, Emma received an Honorable Mention in the First & Foremost Rating System for her work in Open A

 

In 2003, Emma received an Honorable Mention in the First & Foremost Rating System for her work in Open A

 

Emma was ranked 10th in the country in Labradors in 2001 for System II Obedience Ranking which is for class placements and number of dogs beaten.

 

Emma also won the 2001 Field and Obedience Challenge Trophy offered by North Shore Kennel Club.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Field: Emma completed her Junior Hunting Title (JH) earning 4 qualifying legs in 4 months. She earned her Working Certificate (WC) in July 1999. She enjoys both Upland Game Hunting and Waterfowl Hunting in the Fall. Emma completed the requirements for her Canadian Working Certificate in August 2000, 2 1/2 months after having her first litter of 10 puppies. She completed the requirements for her Working Certificate Intermediate in July 2002.

 

 

 

 

Conformation: Although Emma is NOT the "Typical" show looking Labrador; Emma is balanced and meets the Labrador Retriever Breed standards. In October 1999, at the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc, National Specialty, Emma completed the requirements necessary to earn her Conformation Certificate (CC).
